To achieve a fuller look you may want to consider cutting your hair into layers, this will help to lighten up the weight of your hair. Cutting your hair into layers will help to maintain body and control. However, this is not the only way to get the look and feel you want to accomplish.

  • Step one-
The beginning step will include the application of a volumizer to the roots of your hair. Run your fingers through your hair and apply a bit of heat with the blow dryer. This will work to separate the layers and allow for better control.

  • Step two-
Sectioning the hair is important. This will help you to better manage each section as you dry it. Clip your hair on top of your head; each section being styled should be wrapped around the large round brush. Apply heat from the blow dryer to the sections individually as you wrap.
Do not use a diffuser. You should blow dry your hair against the direction it grows in, this will give it more volume.

The hair should not be released from the brush until it has cooled down. Before releasing each section of hair the root should be misted with a light styling spray, this will help the hair hold volume throughout the day. This process should be repeated with every section until all of your hair has been completed. You will notice the body and fullness right away.

  • Step three-
Run your fingers through your hair to loosen the sections. You may flip your head upside down and shake it if you wish. At this time your hair is ready for whichever style you choose.

These step are usually done on damp hair but if you are looking to gain volume in a hurry consider taking a short cut with dry hair.

Many women don’t always have time to work with their hair especially when it is wet. Getting ready in a hurry is a common practice many experience on a daily basis. Adding volume to dry hair can be accomplished with a set or Velcro rollers, styling spray and a blow dryer.

Here are the steps involved with getting full looking hair in a hurry:

  • Stage one-
Brush hair well then add volumizer to the roots of your hair.

  • Stage two-
Wrap large sections of hair around each roller and spray with a light styling spray.

  • Stage three-
Heat the hair on a low temperature for a few minutes. Be sure to hold the blow dryer at least four to six inches from the head so that the hair does not get over heated.

  • Stage four-
Allow your hair to cool for approximately five to ten minutes then remove the rollers one at a time. Be careful not to remove them too fast or you could damage your hair by getting it snagged or tangled on the roller.

  • Stage five-
Run your fingers, brush or comb through your hair to loosen up the sections. Style as usual and apply a styling spray to hold the look.

Both methods are great when trying to achieve a salon look that will make you feel great the whole day. Best part is, you won’t need to leave home or spend excess money on getting a look you will enjoy.
